How Far Can You See?

July 12, 2006

I can see as far as this porch and the house next door and through the cracks in the fence I can see as far as the house across the street but I can see much farther than that with my eyes closed I can see as far as the outreaches of the milky way and beyond the colors rushing in spots at my face the reality is that it is the mind that reaches much farther than sight kind of like the speed of light and sound perhaps from the electrical impulses in the brain outreaching beyond seeable reality. I can see as far as the tops of the willow tree two houses away and the tall nameless tree in front of it I can here what I cannot see although I can see the source in my mind when I close my eyes.  In my peripheral vision I can see the birds flying above me beyond my umbrella, beyond my source sight of vision.
